About this blog

Hello all.. This is Hariesh Manaadiar..

As with every country in the world, South Africa is unique in terms of the shipping industry.. i have put together this blog with a view to provide information on the CONTAINER shipping industry in South Africa and the processes and procedures involved in the same..

I am hoping that this blog will help newbies to the shipping industry in SA and also help the existing shipping people in their work and at the same time providing the international shipping community with an overview into the SA shipping industry..

The topics that i intend to cover here are as below :-

There will also be some issues that require a debate etc which would require everyone’s kind participation.. First one of such debates is duly discharged bills of lading – the great debate..

So lets take it step by step.. Click on the relevant articles.. The articles are in no particular order and one is not a continuation of the other, so you can read it in any order..

If you have any comments, suggestions, ideas, please feel free to communicate with me.. Write a comment..
